1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trussnet ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Trussnet is a marketplace that connects mentees with expert mentors across industries. We provide the technology platform and tools to facilitate bookings, payments, and communications. Trussnet is not a party to the mentoring relationship itself.

3. User Accounts

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Payments and Fees

All session fees are charged at the time of booking. Trussnet collects a 15% platform fee on all transactions. Mentors receive the remaining 85% of each booking, paid out on a weekly basis. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Trussnet reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in cases of extenuating circumstances.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others; to engage in fraudulent activity; to circumvent the Platform to arrange off-platform payments; or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Trussnet or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trussnet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any mentoring sessions facilitated through it.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
